Descaling Valves Size Dn 63-250 (2.5”-10”)

Schrupp descaling valves are 2 way cartridge type valves especially designed to withstand the high pressures and levels of contamination found in typical steel mill descaling systems.  Schrupp valves are operating worldwide in continuous duty processes with excellent results.

The Schrupp cartridge design is extremely maintenance friendly.  The poppet, sleeve, and seat are completely manufactured out of stainless steel.  The use of a soft seal in the seat area allows complete repair of the valve without the necessity of any machining procedures.

Schrupp Descaling Valves Type 1

These valves are electro-pneumatically piloted and can be used for leak free operation.  The robust construction is designed for long service life and safety even in the harsh environment of typical steel mill descaling systems.  This design can also be used for accumulator safety functions or as a pilot operated check valve when pilot pressure is taken from the B port.

Schrupp Descaling Valves Type 2

These valves are electro-pneumatically piloted, cylinder operated, with individually adjustable opening and closing speed.  This design is particularly effective in descaling systems with higher levels of contamination and does not require a pilot filtration system.  The robust construction is designed for long service life and safety even in the harsh environment of the typical steel mill descaling system.

Schrupp Descaling Valve Type 3  
These valves are electro-hydraulically pilot operated.  The direct operated solenoid valves control two size DN25 pilot cartridges which control pilot flow into and out of the main cartridge pilot area.  The pilot medium can be water, oil, or filtered operating system medium.  The opening and closing times are independently adjustable.   The robust construction is designed for long service life and safety even in the harsh environment of the typical steel mill descaling system.
