Schrupp can supply complete *descaling systems*, including those requiring very high pressures and flow rates, such as hot strip mill and plate mill applications.
For billet or bar mill installations, Schrupp utilizes plunger type pumps such as this INOXIHP quintuplex pump. Schrupp is the North American and Central American representative for INOXIHP. These pumps can be applied in accumulator systems, in which the pump supplies flow to the spray ring in conjunction with an accumulator and replenishes the accumulator between billets, or in direct pump systems.
The requirements of your particular product will dictate the type of pump and the type of system that Schrupp will supply. Our range of products and our experience permits us to provide the best solution. We can supply all of the components required for either the strip mill or billet mill descaling systems, including pumps, descaling valves, manual stop valves, check valves, accumulator safety valves, accumulator level indicators and controls, forged or fabricated non-barrier accumulators, spray rings, and duplex or self cleaning strainers.
